I wish you were dead too <3

Easy to love game with great sound effects.

I would love more of it

10/10 for the audio! I really like the attention to detail in this regard. Overall really well done. The art is great, especially the robots are very cute. Maybe the background tiles could have used some more variation, they look a bit too "clean" to me. Just some puddle here and there maybe, or some fake lighting.

My only real gripe is the randomness of the attacks, I often don't have a feeling of control over where I shoot - I think the reason is that the bullets have a maximum distance and the position from where they shoot depends on which robot shoots now.

Not the chickens! Maybe they can form an alliance with the robots and create some sweet robo-chickens!

Fun stuff! At first I was quite happy with how the robots seemed to move together without looking to uniform, although I realised once I had 4+ of them that it was actually a big snake line. I thought that was an inefficient murderstrategy in the final level, since the bots in the back of the line didn't contribute so much. The way the group spread to press buttons was neat though. As @ratrogue pointed out already, the attacks were a little bit random. I wonder how this could be made to be more "skill-based". The audio bits were nice, gave both the bots and the enemy a lot of personality. Another random thing I appreciated was the "DANG" text on the floor at some point.

Really this game is so entertaining, i'm amazed that it was produced in 48 hours, well done, I love playing and the audio create a good atmosphere !

Super fun minimalistic game!
I liked all in the game. Athmosphere is such robotic & hi-tec. Sounds & voices are super suitable, very good job!
And the cherry on the top - bots inteligence. Very well made, shooting, button pressing.
Big like!

I really liked the audio & graphics. I especially liked the robot voice lines & the gritty soundtrack. I had some trouble with the controls. It was sometimes very hard to stay out of harms way and shoot properly.

Hm, I cant seem to get a grasp of this game. Every attack oneshots my bots and the enemies fire in seemingly random directions instantly - which lead to restarting the same levels over and over.

However the soundtrack is great!

I loved this! Had a good laugh with the voice overs and the whole "don't question, just murder" attitude of the game. It plays nicely and despite the visuals not being overwhelmingly good (mostly lack of variation and detail, the sprites themselves are done super well), they're a perfect fit and also quite cute.

DANG! What a GAME! It was just short enough that I didn't get MAD at the BOTS. Last LEVEL was fun, but I did most of the killing with only one bot :D
Awesome sprites and voice acting.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Basic hints for people that are new to this kind of gameplay and find it difficult:

  • your bots have much longer range than the enemies
  • you can click to set a destination (i.e the right hand side of the screen) then move the mouse somewhere else and shoot while the bots keep walking toward the destination.
  • if you lose bots you can go back to bot generators for more

Decently fun game, though I think some things could be tweaked, mainly the one-shot nature of the enemies and the somewhat random nature of their projectiles, I think it makes the game a bit too random and difficult. I did like the idea of building up your robot army though, it's fun to move about once you have a bunch of them.

I absolutely adore the sound effects and voices. Pity there is no "humor" category because DANG(ER) in front of a closed door made me giggle too. The music is great as well; very fitting both with the retro graphics and with the theme. I'm leaving it on in the background while typing this up.

It feels very satisfying to control an increasingly large snake of MURDERBOTS (not sure if they are GIANT, but compared to the puny humans they are certainly big). But the game is rather easy; I finished it on my first playthrough and I'm not even sure it's possible for bots to be destroyed. Even the tanks were no match for my murderous squad. [Edit: maybe I'm more cautious than other people, and tend to start shooting as soon as one of those smelly hue-mons enter view?]

On the second level, one of my comrades was still offline behind a closed door/wall and I could not figure out how to open it. It pained my CPU that I was forced to leave it behind. Is there some hidden secret that I missed?
