Not happy with my graphics
Not happy with my sounds
Not happy with the number of levels
Not happy with the icon
…
But so happy to have published my first Alakajam entry :))
And next time will be better yet!
Thank you all for the Jam!
It was really fun to actually finish a game in 48 hours!
And by finish I mean there's a ton of things to do, and might make a full game out of this :)
20 minutes to go, and I forgot that it takes time to actually render the game! Ohhhh NOOOOOOO!
Luckily it runs fine, but now I gotta convert to HTML and upload it! I am filled with dread….
please
This has been a great jam. Learnt a lot from my past alakajam. Looking forward for your comments.
Decided last minute to join in even though I couldn't devote the whole weekend to it. Came up an idea based on the theme while I was at work and got started once I was home. Pretty happy with the results: Tetris-like game where you move pieces by jumping off of them with a little ninja,
Well, more like last hour but whatever. I think i updated Rollsy & The Surprisingly Short Vertical Mazes for the last time; I've done it around 3 times, trying to improve it or add to it to make it just a smidge better. Overall It is much better then when I first made the entry and the first build of it was uploaded.
I've Added
A Title Screen, 2 More Levels, And New Message at the end. =)
And my entry is FINISHED!
This was so much fun to make! I'm pretty happy with it, so I hope y'all enjoy it too. I'm entering in Solo without graphics or audio. Shout out to @enlightningbugs for making the cover art and also for listening to me monologue about the game all weekend.
Here's an update of what the final Twine map looks like:
A big improvement from how I started.
Final stats:
10303 Characters
1603 Words
28 Passages
I woke up this morning and immediately continued to work on this, so now I'm going to go eat. I'm excited to play all the entries!
Pretty stupid question but I only ask in case it's considered a pre used asset. If we can, where would I find it?
Well my game is finally done. (Enough for the jam I reckon) Gonna get some well deserved rest!
A special thanks for a housemate of mine that decided to record his guitar for some game music.
I left audio unrated for the comp ;3 for solo.
I'm pretty chuffed with myself, since this is my first game jam. I hope you guys like it!
