Nice entry! Though minimalist, the graphics and music were really nice, and there was lots of "juice" in the animations and particle effects.

Always good to see other pygame developers! Great work, especially with the early submission.

This was a very well polished entry! Everything from the graphics, to audio, to the gameplay, all fit nicely together. I liked that the ball would only react when going down and not when going up, but at the same time this stopped me being able to create a wall if I noticed the ball flying to the side (which could have been intentional?)

Overall though, this is the game I've played the most thus far, and really enjoyed it. Good job!

The game was pretty entertaining and fits well with the theme. The music and sfx were nice along with the visuals. The idea was pretty original and the controls were comfortable. The game was also well polished and the particle effects were amazing. Overall, nice game.

Very polished and intuitive to play. Music is relaxing and gameplay easy to get into to but hard to master. Would probably do really well as a mobile game.

This game is very pleasing from it's visual and audio presentation. As I'm come to expect from your work.
Fits the theme perfectly and also seems excellent as a score attack exercise.

Unfortunately there are two thing which really frustrated me, while playing:
I felt like the trajectory wasn't always what I was expecting and at times random, which made me give up on trying to steer the projectile and instead just placing Vs all over the place.
I got furious(!) about clicking outside the window all the time. <- a fullscreen mode (even if everything but the intended window size would be colored black) would've helped A LOT.

All in all a great jam game, with a bit of noticeable jank, which surely could've been ironed out, with just a bit more time. Great work!

@elZach I originally though that the bounce angle was wrong too, but I created a trail (which is still visible in the game) and you can see that it's accurate. It's only slightly "off" because there's a slight upward boost for bounces to make the game easier. In case you want to verify it, the math should result in the reflection of the ball velocity over the normal of the platform with a slight upward boost in velocity.

As for clicking off the screen, I made the black bars on the side for that purpose. I could see it being a visual annoyance for some though, so I didn't make that area super big. It's 70 pixels or something.

This is the last game I had to rate, and it's a very pleasant surprise!
I love how difficult this game is!
The sounds are also a nice addition too!

Very cool, and impressive for 7 hours! Just FYI: The itch.io download of the Windows build failed for me. I had to run it from source (and yes, it indeed requires pygame 2- it crashed on 1.9.6).
