Hey, so I have got my ideas down to a final four. I have each one as fleshed out as I can given that it's early morning here.
For the next few hours I'll need to create some basic environment art because I now know my setting will be Earth now lol. Also I'll make a start on environment sound effects.
While I do that, you can vote on which of my four ideas I go with here: https://www.strawpoll.me/15948167
Hello, we're students from the University of Bolton, we've competed in a few jams and this is our first Alakajam!
We'll be using Unity, Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop, ZBrush, Bosca Ceoil, BFXR.
Wishing you all luck!
This is my first Alakajam but I'm a jam veteran for last 4-5 years doing various jams.

Might be with or without mic & cam.
Just come and say hi!
WoooHoooo! Thanks to @DaFluffyPotato for suggesting such an awesome theme!
I'm done brainstorming with this cool idea. Its very special and inspired by one of my favourite PC games! Also done with a one-page game design document. Its 12:30 AM here. I'll probably work for one more hour (just the concept and stuff) and then sleep till 7:30 AM. If you want help with your game design document, take this template! Short and to the point. (I'm using google docs by the way for the document)
Mantra: 1 line sentence refering to the UX to always remember throught development (ex: Epic robot battles with multiple story paths)
Summary; A short brief
Features: List of mechanics and unique characteristics
Target Platform: Where do I intend to publish my game
Target Audience; Profiles of who's going to play my game
Game: Layout of every detail of the game (this usually branch on more points specific to that game, like story, power ups, multiplayer, etc)
Interface: This includes player controls and how's the input (mouse, keyboard, controller)
Artstyle: Mostly reference to the art people of your vision
Music/Sound: What kind of music/sound you want and how is going to play
Development Plan: A very crude layout of the needed task to develop the game with a time estimate

I'll be using Game Maker Studio 2 and see how things go.
Am I supposed to say what I'll be using?
Okay then.
Yeah, I know I shouldn't be doing this at the last hour, but I'm gonna use ENIGMA instead of pygame because I just have a little more experience with it. That's it. My headphones are charging. They want to say hi to all of you.
