Created in a little over 1 hour just before the event ended, Tim Beaudet challenged me to create my own version of the Halloween game he's working on. Well, challenge was accepted!
First of all, i love the intro. I like the gameplay as well - ever so slightly addicting =)
Super cool for such a short time frame! The witch looks so funky I love it 😂. Gonna have to check Tim's game and compare the two…
Ah so you were the person on Tim Beaudet's twitch stream! And first time play, newest high score! You did well went it came to redoing Tim's game - though a tad bit easier than his game to say the least. Moving forward and back really helps.
Also yes - as he said 'People will know that's a witch' xD
Terribly simple and effective :)
I love these kind of reaction games, and this one plays very well. The hit boxes are nice and tight, and the control feels very smooth :)
Good Job @tsjost !
At this point it plays better than Tims lol.
Heh, nice! I was going to play Tim's game first, but had some issues, so played this instead. Nice controls - I felt like I was 50/50 at some points but managed to squeeze through, which is nice. Random means sometimes you get lucky, but there seemed to appear safe "corridors" almost naturally. Spooky!
I like how this game uses a very spooky theme, and I really enjoy that since it's october. The game itself is really addicting, but I think that the ghosts could have some kind of randomizer from something like 1-3, and each number changes the ghost to a different color ~ just to spice it up a little
Wow, really good for how long you took to make it. I like the way you animated the witch's movement. Really simple but clever and effective. I like that the difficulty slowly ramps up. Really good effort. Only bug I noticed was that Score changed to ore a lot. I think it was when ghosts passed by it haha.
