Heyho guys!
I'm pretty new to programming. I've done some Ludume Dare Gamejames but I will participate for the first time in the Alakajam. Unfortunately, I will only have a few hours at the weekend to come up with a game. Let's see how far I can do it.

Hi ! I'm a game design student and with one of my classmate, we're gonna participate to this jam :)
It's only my 5th jam as I began my journey into game development last year but I expect to do something great :D

We're certainly gonna use :

• Unity 2018
• Visual Studio
• Photoshop or Illustrator (if 2D)
• FLStudio if we got time to do some music

Hope we'll achieve something great !

I'm in. I have been programming a while, but new to game developement. I will be using Java as my language, JavaFX as my GUI library, Pixel Edit for my art, and FLStudio for sounds. Hoping to control myself, and keep the scope small, and on theme.

Im new to game dev, this will be my first proper jam. fingers crossed i can finish it ;)

This will be my first ever game jam, and I'm really excited. I might be doing it solo, but I'll see if I can find others to join me :D
If you're interested at all on how my first game jam will be going, I'll make sure to stream large portions of it, if not the whole thing!

You should come by and say hey, or help give ideas! If all goes well I might make a little secret shoutout in the game to some of my viewers :D

The first full-scale Alakajam! of 2019 will take place on the February 22-24 week-end! We will post the detailed schedule early on that month. Book the date :)

Hey Alakajam Community,

Just discovered the event. I've been learning A-Frame VR and want to take this opportunity to create a ridiculously simple (and simply ridiculous) game. I'll be entering solo with the main intent of putting my basic A-Frame skills to use and having fun seeing what our collective creativity conjures up.
