You are a bubble, who is deperately trying to get home to a bowl of nice warm soapy water.
Unfortunately, your path there is surrounded with hazardous spikes, one touch of which will burst you.
To make matters worse, it is the darkest of nights.

I was hoping to make something bigger+better than this, but that plan didn't work out. This was made in 2 hours.
This was short (because I could only get to the third stage) but was very fun! Nice concept, well executed. I agree a little with yoel_r, because sometimes you die right at spawn if you move too fast… maybe if the hitbox was a liiiiiiiittle, just a little more forgiving, it would improve a lot.

The gameplay is pretty effective, with those scary spikes, a pitch black scene where you can explode any time, and a tune that seems to mock you as you progress :P
After some levels, progress starts to get mechanical though, as in "pick a path to try, walk until you die, repeat". The excitement of running for 4+ tiles without dying is the main thing that kept me entertained. I'm quite proud of this level in particular:
I don't mind the spawn deaths, they require you to be ready anytime to release the keys so it adds a skill factor. The game mostly lacks a "high score" spot in the title screen, so you can share proof of your achievements. You could probably add support for it directly in your engine!
