Casting for fish, with magic!
Magic lure #1 with some temporary "borrowed" assets
I'm taking a break to eat then I'll be streaming here again: https://www.twitch.tv/dafluffypotato
Spellcasting! I would have preferred Little Robot Workers, but here we go. Think, brain; something simple, please! Took a walk and came up with a plan: drawing lines in a magic circle, trying to find proper symbols.
A puzzle once again, those are quick to make. Will throw in the logic tomorrow and concentrate on audio-visuals as much as possible.
Cheers.
Me and my mates, aka TeamF11, are here to rock!
We're using Unreal Engine (I guess) and still thinking on the game setting and genre while others have their main character sprite already, yayy!!
I've still got to install (and learn lol) Blender or Cinema 4d or something cause I never tried 3d before. Phhh, piece of cake!
Good luck and have fun, everybody!
Unfortunately, I can't work on this gamejam at all for another 2 hours. My precious time, gone! When Alakajam started, I was halfway done though my academics, and home laptops are not allowed. Thank you very much, Education system. 2 hours to go.
I have no clue why i'm making a post about this, sorry to waste your time.
I'll be streaming dev for my AKJ game in 15-30 minutes here.
Here's some early mockup art for now:
Might have misremembered when this thing actually starts a bit, hehe…
On the bright side, I've already got an outline for an idea, so that's a bit of time saved.
Tools:
I want to make a wizard fighting game. You basically punch wizards and sorcerers in the face while dodging other wizards spells. It will be an endless fighting game, with a wierd map where you can find tools to help you fight the wizards chasing you. No storyline yet, will think it up as I go. =)
I am using:
Unity for the engine
SFXR for sound effects
My own minimal artistic skills for modeling
Hello everyone. Just writing to say "I'm In!" for Alakajam.
Let's have fun and make games.
