I'm in. I have been programming a while, but new to game developement. I will be using Java as my language, JavaFX as my GUI library, Pixel Edit for my art, and FLStudio for sounds. Hoping to control myself, and keep the scope small, and on theme.
Im new to game dev, this will be my first proper jam. fingers crossed i can finish it ;)
Hey everyone, hope you are all looking forward to the event tonight.
This will be my first ever game jam, and I'm really excited. I might be doing it solo, but I'll see if I can find others to join me :D
If you're interested at all on how my first game jam will be going, I'll make sure to stream large portions of it, if not the whole thing!
You should come by and say hey, or help give ideas! If all goes well I might make a little secret shoutout in the game to some of my viewers :D
If you want to watch I'll be over at https://twitch.tv/thefilthyweeaboo starting at 6:30pm UTC, 30 minutes before the jam begins!
Good luck to everyone and if you're competing then I look forward to seeing your finished project!

Hey Alakajam Community,
Just discovered the event. I've been learning A-Frame VR and want to take this opportunity to create a ridiculously simple (and simply ridiculous) game. I'll be entering solo with the main intent of putting my basic A-Frame skills to use and having fun seeing what our collective creativity conjures up.
Love and Coffee,
Peter
Who is looking to team up?
Im going to use Unity so if you want to team contact me!

This is my first alakajam, but i hope everyone has good luck :V
I'm excited to get started in my first Alakajam! This is my first real jam with the time limit of only one weekend!
Of course naturally, the one time I decide to take part is when events start happening and important errands need to be run. Ugh.
I'm sad I won't have the entire weekend to make a game, but I will do my best!
I'm a solo developer still learning the ins and outs of Unity. I wish everyone the best of luck in this challenge!
Hi!
I created an account for the 2nd one, got as far as voting on themes and watching the intro stream on the 3rd edition… hopefully this time an actual game will result. (I know I can do so, I've done a few LDjams.)
Normally I jam with my own (terrible!) C++/SDL ad-hoc engine, but this time seems as good as any to break with what has become too much of a tradition. So, I'll be dithering in & futzing with Game Maker Studio 1.4 this time around, unless an idea comes along that screams for another method.
Have to say; while I'm always more upbeat about themes than most (or so it seems), this shortlist seems especially nice. Can't think of a single one that I even vaguely dislike :-)
Good luck all!
