Karma mechanics ¿? 4

I am confuse as to how the Karma in Alakajam works. I see when you hoover over it says:

Rate and review other games to increase your karma, and get featured higher on the list!

However, even when doing so Karma goes up, but then it goes down again.

Anyone know the exact mechanics on how this works?

Your karma goes down when you receive ratings and votes.

So, if you want to keep your Karma high, you basically have to give more into the community than your getting out of it.
If I understood it correctly if your Karma is at 100 - you're at equilibrium you got as many comments and ratings as you gave.

If you did more your karma is higher, and if you received more your karma is lower.

@elZach Ohhh ok, I see.

Yes I was rating games during the week and today I was kinda busy, but also took my time and went thru the entries list trying to spot games that didn't reach the 8 reviews minimun in order to play those. Thanksfully by the time I checked every game meet the requirement.

Thanks for explaining the mechanics ;)

That's what the top bar is for, but maybe you missed it (basically at some point a top bar with all games that need to be 'rescued', sorted by the ones that need the least ones to get to the target*) since it isn't there from the beginning and goes away after all games have at least a full 'set' of votes.

*) Eight this time, but that's lower than normal because we have a very short voting phase this time, because of the 'x ScoreSpace' thing.
