A nice prototype for a funny idea.
A good add for playability would be to make the movement of your brick progressive.

I love the reversal of the clasic game. was enjoyable, but cant move the paddel as fast as id like to have.

Great idea for the theme! I enjoyed the reverse version of arkanoid. Harder than you'd've thought!

Well, the controls are a not really smooth and the bricks fall too quickly but… Woaw, this game is good anyway! I think it's a funnier version than the original game, and the idea is original, I like it

This is an extremely dumb idea. I laughed three times and then lost the game. Good work, especially for just three hours!

I really like this one. It reminds me of some kind of Atari 5200 / 2600 game. For me the controls are a tad too slippery but other than that it's nice ~ Turned a idea on it's head and thus confused and made me chuckle at the game

Neat idea, challenging enough. Simple and functional retro aesthetic.

A few issues with the interactivity:

  1. There is no visual indication on which block is going to fall next (an animation or color change would do)
  2. The pad cannot move from one end of the screen to the other in time to catch a falling block there. (Fixing point 1. would alleviate this issue)
  3. Sometimes falling blocks stop in the middle of movement and immediately fall again, basically changing direction surprisingly. (Especially when only a few blocks left)
  4. The level shouldn't restart automatically.

It would be interesting to see power-ups in this bizarro-world breakout.

Good work!

@HuvaaKoodia Thanks for the suggestions! Except that, after playing your entry, I found that I disagree with you on the last point: I like the game restarting itself automatically. Maybe I should place a title screen that can wait for the very first time, but I like games pushing me to play again and again without a break, which gives a nice panicking feel. Maybe I am evil.

Oh, I should have specified that bit.

I was thinking of recording the highscore; I nearly missed my change to take a screenshot, you see. If there was a way to see the highscore later, in a title menu for instance, then I would not have an issue with it.

In any case, one button press doesn't really break the flow. It's a standard.
