I would like to play this but I don't have Windows, and it doesn't work on Wine. Looks like you're using your own OpenGL-based engine, so I don't suppose you can easily press some magic Export to Linux button either :(

@thomastc Sorry, I can't make a linux version. It's using DirectX 11. I don't know if it's possible but have you tried using Steam's Proton thing ?

I have it bundled with Steam, but I don't think you can easily run non-Steam games with it. It's possible to install it standalone, but that involves compiling it from source, which I don't have time for right now. Oh well.

Can you use the "Add game" button at the bottom left of steam, to use a non steam game with it ? I never used proton so I don't know if that work. Anyway, my "game" probably isn't worth the effort.

Nice little experience, very relaxing. maybe if you wanted to expand it, make it so new words appears based on the types of words you've used in the past?

@baconinvader Thanks.
I don't know about your suggestion, I like the randomness and having to make sentences with what you get. One thing would make it better would be to have more prepositions and stuff like that.

It's a nice little toy, I like the concept very much. With the current implementation however I found myself mostly looking for ways to keep sentences grammatically correct, which was surprisingly hard! I feel it would work best if suggestions were skewed a bit towards words that fit, verbs with the correct agreement etc.

Btw I read the description as "Doesn't contains any adjectives" haha, found a couple ones and then had to look again.

@Psychic_Ash Sorry about that.
Did it crash ? Or maybe Windows Defender doesn't let you run it ?
Did it create a "log.txt" file ? What OS and graphics card do you have ?
I uploaded a new version that doesn't contains any of the audio initialization code (the game doesn't have any audio), adds a bit more logging but is otherwise unchanged. I'm interrested in any information as this shares code with other of my games and I'm always interrested if I can make it work for more people.

@thomastc Maybe this build will work better with wine if you want to test it ?

@Wan Part of the reasoning was to "force" people to change their mind about what they were going to write. But the small amount of words and the small amount of time I took to create the list makes it harder than necessary to construct "valid" sentences.
