Nice polished game, platforming was solid and I like the axe throwing mechanics as well. Showing your score when you gameover would be a small improvement I think.

Game was overall great.
Love the graphic and music.
I would nitpick by saying that jumping felt too responsive "as long as you press the button it will jump" but it's just a preference.

Lovely game, good level design. I managed to make it to the level with three birds and no axe and lots of falling through the floor, but couldn't make it through that one.

Great colour palette, animations and visual effects, like the bullet time when your axe hits, very satisfying.

Sound and music are functional but nothing special.

Art looks fantastic, overall gameplay is very polished. The axe-throwing/picking up is a cool mechanic. I agree with Lokior that holding the jump button to continuously jump caused me to accidentally jump after jumping onto a platform (I just used the word "jump" 4 times in this sentence), but that's a small detail.

I was able to beat the level that thomastc mentioned with the 3 birds at the bottom, no axe, and two drops on the left and right, but got stuck on the level after that. My biggest piece of feedback would be that dodging the enemies could feel a little unpredictable and random, especially after "teleporting" from the top to bottom. To me the game felt like a precision platformer where the key skill was timing your movements and jumps, but on those last couple levels I felt that it was impossible to accurately dodge all the enemies. I found myself just kind of brute-forcing those last 2 levels.

Overall the game quality is great and ignoring those small details about responsiveness and level design I enjoyed playing it very much. Great work!

The art looks amazing and the game is very polished. The increase in difficulty and mechanics was good as I didn't feel like I was immediately thrown into the deep end. The 'hold to contiuously jump' shocked me at first but it didn't negativelly affect gameplay for me.

Very fun game overall!

Original and fun entry, I also loved the "bullet time" when you hit an enemy and the best thing for me was that you and the axe fall at different speed, giving a very satisfying mid-air collection moment even if it requires no extra timing/skill. I died plenty of times, curious to see how highscores are going to be set for this :D

I ran into a freeze while spawning in this level - maybe I shouldn't have pressed any buttons? Music is still playing.
