Help the enchanted jamician robes survive for as long as possible in this physics-based homage to a timeless classic puzzle game.
Oh no! The molten core of the earth has rapidly expanded taking over the entire surface of the world and someone left their beautifully enchanted wizards robes just sat in a tower!

To help the robes survive the heat of the lava simply stack the blocks that are being spat up into additional floors to your tower. The lava will melt the tower over time so be quick! Each floor is 3 blocks high and can only support a platform if each level of blocks is half full.
To move a block simply aim your magic and start pulling it in, the block will always be drawn towards your spell indicator!
To cast your spell you can press [SPACEBAR], [LEFT MOUSE BUTTON] or {RIGHT TRIGGER], and to aim you can use the [MOUSE], [WASD], [ARROW KEYS] or [LEFT ANALOG} on a controller.
If you loose your spell indicator you can summon it back to the centre of the screen with [F], [TRIANGLE], [Y] or [X] on your controller.
Hey, could you let me know what version you were running? Thanks. I just updated all the releases (very last minute just before deadline, ya know?) So it might be that I've already fixed whatever it was but I'd like to know all the same.
Yea the mechanic is a bit funky, sadly I didn't have time to onboard the player in the game itself but I tried to explain it all in the description!
It would be nice if there was a web version, as the download took some time.
I didn't understand the point of the game at my first time playing, but It didn't take long to learn how to play it. I haven't seen games like this before, I found it original and interesting. Controlling the blocks was sometimes difficult and unpredictable, but I found it fun. For some reason though, when I had made like 4 floors from blocks, I died, even though everything was going well. I guess the robe guy didn't move up the floors and died? Anyway, nice graphics and gameplay.
thanks for the feedback, the difficulty varies but i never got the curve right and the difference isnt great enough to be noticed its gets faster or slower depending on your average height so if you start struggling it'll level out but the formula needs tweaking.
i wish i had the time to onboard the players with a tutorial but that was an oversight on my part.

Cons:
A hot take on classic mechanic. Good job!
Nice game! I liked the general mood, it was very relaxing. I also felt that the controls were really good for a physics based game jam game. I think it would have been good to have the difficulty go up as time went on though, since there wasn't very much stopping me once I got good enough to survive early on. Still, fun game and good work.
My favourite sort of jam entry! Weird and wonderful! Genuinely enjoyed figuring out how to play this. Initially I found placing the blocks very frustrating, but with a little finesse it's actually quite easy.. unless you need to rotate a way that the block doesn't feel like going. Very compelling
Great job with the lava effect. Music loop was nice but very short. It'd have been nice to get some flapping animation on the robes, or have them move around smoothly instead of jump between floors.
Lovely work

had some issues with sinking all the way into the lava and not dying.
Also multiple times had what looked like solid floors and my guy didn't move up.
the game was rather chill, good graphics, intresting mechanic (that took a bit to work out in detail).
