Seems intriguing, might be a cool game once you finish. Good luck!

Hi, I find the graphics eally amazing for a game made in just 72 hours. However, apart from walking and jumping throughout the library I was not able to do anything else. There are commands? Or still they are not implemented? Anyway, good job!

The amount of detail in this game is very impressive. I found myself reading some of the book titles — you did a fantastic job of reproducing the feel of being in a library (and I say this as one who has spent several years working in a library).

All in all, I think this prototype has a lot of potential. Turning this into a full-fledged game will be quite a challenge, but you can do it if you have a lot of gumption — put your heart into it. I hope you can see it through.

Nicely implemented mechanics. I was really confused when I tried to figure out how to close the book. Walking away did it :D
The atmosphere is nice as well. I guess the assets are premade? Hope I see you in the ranked jam sometime!
Write a post here when you continue with the story so we can check it out.

Interesting start! Curious where you are planning to take this.

Nitpicks:

  • Running/jumping in a library feels out of place.
  • Opening a book just by moving close to it is surprising and annoying, and doesn't scale if you are going to have many different books close to each other. Probably better to make the player click on a book on the shelf to open it.
  • There's some w e i r d s t u f f going on with the typesetting.
