I will be using GarageBand, GameMaker: Studio 2, and random objects around my house for the jam.
I'm in for this Alakajam!!
It's only my 2nd Alakajam, but the first was so fun, I couldn't help coming back for more. I'll probably post sneak peeks on my Twitter too!
Looking forward to seeing what everyone's going to make!
I'm excited, all the theme options look good.
Tools depend on what theme gets through, but likely puzzlescript or pico-8 as my goal is to make as many good levels as possible. I'll probably also put a decent amount of time into some quality music while I'm at it, in pico-8 or PxTone.
Is a 48 hour roguelike in the mix? Maybe… but I might hold out a couple weeks for the 7DRLC instead, and take this jam a little easier. The theme will decide all.
Hello Alakajam!
My name is Jason. I have been making games in my spare time for around 2 years now (after a long break… I remember doing a few on a Lazer128 in basic and one in c/c++ in high school). Mostly Gam Jams, but I also did a 12 games in 12 weeks challenge a while back.
I am going to be watching for the theme and will be making a game if I can find some time to put into it this weekend.
Looking forward to seeing what everyone makes!
Frequently Used tools: Unity, VSCode, Blender, GIMP, Audacity, LMMS, Abundant Music, ChipTone
This'll be my… third? Fourth?
How many have there been so far?
Whatever.
Hi all!
The name is Kirk and I'm here to say, I like to make games in a major way.
Heard about this jam, thought I'd give it a whirl. I imagine I'll be using unity for this one. Best of luck to everyone and I hope everyone has a really fun time! ^_^
Hello everyone! My name is Dan, and this is my first jam ever! Wanted to participate in one for longest time, but lack of skills was stopping me from doing so.
But hopefully, now i have enough in me to make something that at least not gonna crash to desctop at launch.
Good luck to everyone out there, really exited to see what other people will come up with as well!
A few people have asked how to actually DO alakajam recently, particularly wanting to know how to submit their game, so here's a basic guide:
I'm back for another Alakajam! I'm looking forward to jamming with everyone again!

Last one I didn't plan for and ended up kind of half-assing. Got my buddy doing art joining this time, gonna make something weird!
