First free weekend since the jam ended, how did I use it?
I used it well!
Many small improvements and one new feature (the cat statues); final polish, you could say.
Taken that the project did pretty well in the polls, a post-jam version was certainly needed. Having promised it multiple times during the jam, as always, was a factor too.
Quote of the day
"Now I'm satisfied!"

Smooth project; smooth teamwork helps! Ogle at the "Less than perfect" (claims self-critical team member 2) title image.
Try it here, by all means.
Cheers!
"This is perfection", says team member 2! What do you think?
The falling bits are in, see!
Audio todo with 10 hours left (sleeping todo as well). Tough? Team member 1 thinks not!
Not something I'd usually go for, sidescrolling plaforming, but out of all the ideas it seemed the most functional and elegant.
The falling bits are still missing, mind you.
Graphics are coming in by team member 2! Higher quality than my usual outings, I'd wager… To save my life.
My fourth project (don't ask about the third…) as an independent interactive-digital-media developer is out and has been for a few weeks now.
Alakajam 4 then.
I am taking part in the procedings, no surprise there. A surprise here, this time I will be doing so as the second half of a dynamic duo!
Whether the dynamism continues after the jam remains to be seen…
Cheers!
Despite the rough start managed to pull everything together in the end.
Once again had an hour for music and something came out! Brilliant.
Tough week coming up. Reviewing Alakajam entries on the side won't hurt, right?
Lazy bones me, got to work late on an overly complicated design and had to scrap it…
Restart yielding some results. Will keep the interactivity extremely simple, more time for graphics and audio.
My second project as an independent interactive-digital-media developer is out and has been for a week.
Haven't been able to take part in Kajams due to work, work, work. The Artificial Intelligence one would have been fun, but alas. At least I had time to play through the entries now.
Looking forward to the 3rd Alakajam! Not skipping it for any reason.
My first project as an independent interactive-digital-media developer is finished.
is a pausable real-time light-tactics single-player competition.
Try the WebGL demo
Cheers!
PS. Project 2 has begun!
Couldn't quite work as much today, but eventually everything important got in. More polish and tweaking sure could have been a benefit, but right now I don't really care.
Do give it a look if spaceships in space fighting a space war sounds like your kind of thing.
