Hi everyone! I'm joining in for Alakajam #5 this weekend -- I've done few game jams before (Ludum Dare #42 and #43), but would be completely new to Alakajam and am excited to give it a shot!
But I put the "I think" in the title because, due to various personal circumstances and family obligations and such, I probably won't be able to devote as much time to it as I would ilke -- at most Friday evening, Saturday evening, and Sunday morning. So it'll be a challenge to see if I can actually finish and submit something, and a fun exercise in scope management to try to make something actually small and simple for once!
As far as technology goes, I'd be planning to use the following:
It'll be interesting to see how it goes, and good luck to everyone else who's joining!!
I'm going to be doing the game jam this weekend! I'm not yet sure on if I'll be using Godot or Love2d for this Jam, but I am looking forward to it!
Oh how life loves getting in the way of my game making :(. I will be participating but I won't have the full three days to work. Still, I will submit whatever I can!
And it's going to be terrible, as I have no real experience of game making.
I'll probably use Godot for the engine, Aseprite for the graphics, and whatever I'll find for the sound.
But hey, I need motivation to actually try and do a game, and having a deadline to make a short game in a jam seems like the way to go.
Think im going to enter this one. Unfortunately I was not able to join the Kajam. Im interested how i can work with this one with my very limited skillset.
Wooo…
I'm gonna be entering this one after sadly missing last one! I'm very pumped :D
Tools: GameMakerStudio2, bosca ceoil, aseprite

I do not promise the game's name to end in -light :D
My team will be making a 3D game using Unity. I am the coder/designer, and I need an artist and someone to do audio!

I will be using GarageBand, GameMaker: Studio 2, and random objects around my house for the jam.
I'm in for this Alakajam!!
It's only my 2nd Alakajam, but the first was so fun, I couldn't help coming back for more. I'll probably post sneak peeks on my Twitter too!
Looking forward to seeing what everyone's going to make!
I'm excited, all the theme options look good.
Tools depend on what theme gets through, but likely puzzlescript or pico-8 as my goal is to make as many good levels as possible. I'll probably also put a decent amount of time into some quality music while I'm at it, in pico-8 or PxTone.
Is a 48 hour roguelike in the mix? Maybe… but I might hold out a couple weeks for the 7DRLC instead, and take this jam a little easier. The theme will decide all.
