(Pronouced "eye see" or "ick", whichever you prefer. Perhaps I should just call it depth puzzle aha.)
This is a puzzle game where you need to switch to different depth perspectives to make it to each point. Viewing a 3D world from different 2-dimensional planes allows you to create paths to navigate the levels.
WASD keys to move
Up arrow to change to top perspective
Right arrow to change to front perspective
As in level 2, you need to make sure you get into the correct depth in the 3rd dimension, even though you don't always see it. If you go on top of that blue orb while in the Y-Depth, you should be aligned with those cubes on the right there :)
Got stuck in level2 as well, I'm not sure I fully understood the 3rd dimension mechanics, it sometimes felt like I didn't always do the same thing when I switched view point. The idea is nice but it needs maybe a better difficulty curve in the level design and feedbacks for the player position in space, as it quickly becomes really hard :p
Nice entry tho!
Yeah if I had more time I would have spent more time on the level design. Basically though, the game is still 3D, so your position in all 3 dimensions still remains, it's just that by viewing the world from the 2 perspectives, you can create paths to different points that you otherwise wouldn't be able to reach
Really cool interpretation of the theme!
I liked the package of minimalistic graphics, sound and gameplay.
Like others mentioned, the difficulty curve is a bit steep,
I tried to find the right way after the second orb, but my mind just wasn't adjusted to the swapping of
view points as much as it should have been at that point, and I pretty much just tried switching at different positions :D
Overall a really cool jam game!
