Tower of Hanoi, now with an AI co-op partner to mess things up! It has a plan and you need to read its mind, is pretty much how it goes.

Developer's comments

Despite much thinking the AI still bugs out in one of the levels by skipping turns. Hmm. Didn't have time to fix that, but it is not a biggie.

Took 19 hours in all.

Good job guys, i had a hard time resolving this game because i didn't want to listen to the AI, but as soon as i did so it worked so smoothly.

Very interesting puzzel, found it frustrating at times because the AI didn't move the way I wanted it to do but I started to think what the AI is trying to do and by allowing it, I started to get somewhere. Looked really nice and like the bouncy animation.

Fun little puzzle game! I had some trouble with the depth perception, sometimes a small peice would look larger than a big peice. And of course the A.I isn't always on my wavelength, but I got there in the end. Nice job.

animations were nice. Played a level or so (given that there is a recursive alogrythen that soves this - not that intresting once you know the solution), would have been good to get the AI going sooner then later.

@Epicnez
Thanks!

@Farssigia @abel @Wazz

I'm glad to hear you managed to cooperate with the AI. It is not one to take orders.

The different disc sizes could be made mode apparent with an ortographic camera, which I decided against, or with separate appearances for each disc, which I didn't have time for. One clever solution, which a friend suggested after the jam, is to add a checkerboard floor texture. This have been really simple to do… Too bad!

Thanks for the whole crew!

@AdroitConceptions
A level? The first one? Did you check the other levels with N?

Thanks for paying, nonetheless.

A very interesting idea. That was a very weird starting idead, to team the player with an AI for a puzzle game like this one. But it works very well.

Wow that's a very interesting twist on towers of hanoi. I thought at first I was going against the AI and seeing who can make their tower first (which I think would make a good mode). All the puzzles were really interesting and plays beautifully. Good work~

I haven't rated yet as I can't get the game to run in linux. Oddly fails without errors. Will try again before end of jam
