Alice on Drugs

2D Platformer

Context:
This game is a platformer in which you incarn a little girl named Alice.
She's looking to come back home but strange things are happening along the way.

Gameplay:
Left and Right arrows => move
Up arrow => jump/enter home
Enter => use drugs

Tips:
If you are locked in a level after using a mushroom, you have the possibility to kill yourself and you'll respawn on the same level with a new mushroom.

Dude, I gotta say, I didn't want to have the trouble of installing it (make an executable!) but did, and I glad, because oh boy, I lost my shit when I read the word "CHAMCHIBRE". Also, the music is fucking awesome!!!

This game is so fun! It provides a hilarious explanation for "seeing things in the other dimension", the music is great, and the jumping Alice animation is on point.

Fun, colourful and great music.

The mushroom powered platforms fall faster than the gravety on the character, this adds an extra level of difficulty when timming jumps.

The high world music suits the frantic rush to reach the end in time. The main track is also pleasent.

Killing myself because I ran out of shrooms = way too realistic

Loved the old ATARI platformer feel of the game, the Chamchibre (je suppose qu'on les appelle chamchibre pour leur forme ? :P), and the overall psychedelic feel of the game. It's like the Hotline Miami of the 80s!

Gameplay-wise, while the early parts were super fun, the later ones were more frustrating, and I ended throwing my keyboard away as I kept getting stuck on the side of platforms, forcing me to fall & restart everytime. I even managed this achievement at some point:

Alice is so plastered she keeps hitting her head on walls :O

Well yes, a few bugs are remaining but I like to think that it adds on the difficulty and lifetime of the game :)

Hi! I have to say that adding difficulty and length is not always good, it may be frustrating to try to do simple tasks and fail repeatedly. Try to shorten the path to the platforms, as walking there may be a bit tedious if you fall often, and it's a straightforward path.
I liked how the mechanics are presented and the humor. Art and music are nice too

Great visuals and the music is a great pick! Movement/controls could be a little bit more precise (like I could not jump when I was standing directly next to the bridge). However, the concept and Idea is quite nice. I like it! :)

Awesome! At this point, the issues have been pointed out, I like the concept, I believe that if the game gets polished, it would be famous hahaha
