Nice little prototype, I enjoyed it and it fits the theme. My fisrt attempt took 15 strokes.

Good idea. Never would have thought of it. Good starting point for something larger.

Nice physics-based game that fits the theme. Decent prototype for just 10 hours. Few sound effects and sprites but they are good. I suppose the lack of music suits the game since it takes place in space. I don't know if it was because I played the web build but the ball moved a bit slow.

Nice entry! i didnt realise i could take multiple swings on the same meteor. Oops! maybe it should be written somewhere, or maybe i missed it.

I don't have a solution for you, but it was frustrating to be limited in shot power by the confines of the edges of the screen. Sort of like being stuck against the wall in a game of pool and not having a good angle to use your cue. I also feel you could stand to zoom out or at least give the kill plave some space outside the edges of the visible screen. Having a shot go out that distance to miraculously come back and land on a planet would be fun and feel very gravity. As it is, everything here works quite well and feels largely good and fair to play.

Very fun! I felt like the predicted course was frequently misleading for shallow arcs, and a few times I managed to get myself into semi-stable orbits that took minutes to decay, but otherwise I really enjoyed this and wish there was more to it. Simple but very fun gameplay, the ideal gamejam entry. Probably my favourite entry

Nice little game, very intuitive and reasonably polished. The only issues I ran into where that sometimes it was hard to execute a shot at the intended power when the ball was close to the edge of the screen (since you can't move your mouse very far), and also the first shot to launch your ball off of an asteroid could often feel kind of finicky, had a couple times where it went in an unexpected direction but that might have just been a skill issue on my part. As far as future work could go, maybe adding in more than two planets, along with stuff like black/white holes for later levels?

What an excellent game!!! Good job!!!

What did you use to code it up?

Great entry for 10 hour jamming. Most went through with 1 stroke, one took 8… It wasn't that long of a jam game but any longer would have needed more mechanics. Graphics look great, sound effects are nice and presentation is clear. I would have liked to have some background music while I'm planning the fligth paths. Good job!

@Baconinvader thanks for the feedback - yeah, it'd really need some sort of camera setup or some other way to give the player more room to swing in, I think.

As for the finicky initial shots - that's likely an issue in the physics implementation I didn't get to figuring out.

@voxel @Bklyn @M2tias @BluePinStudio @FunBaseAlpha @Jesus @Blinkerz001 @NicolasDreams thanks a ton for all the feedback & suggestions!

The game has a bunch of issues with physics, (lack of) camera setups, insta-death when going out of bounds & laggy web builds but I'm happy if you enjoyed it :)
