I liked the graphics and character animation. The hitboxes are a bit off in my opinion, I get hit from too far, and for example when I'm above the crate in the room at the bottom, there is a lot of visible space but I can't move much.

I couldn't figure it out. I got a key to the dining room, in which I put 3 dishes on the tables, but didn't get anything from that (I think). There is a second key there, but no door to go with. In the room below I seem to need a blue item (there is a blue arrow), but I didn't find any. There are barels and crates but I can't interact with them. So I don't know what to do. Some hints would be appreciated.

The mood is nice, probably due to the music.

The puzzle concept is nice, but it needs a bit more work to make it come across clearly. It feels like many of the interactions had triggers that were slightly off: for example, without really knowing what's going on in the dungeon yet, I saw the bomb explode, then I moved nearby, trying buttons, and I got told "I deefused the bomb": great, it already exploded. The X/Z prompts on the ground near the levers also didn't really explain what is going on, and I think I got the "press X to freeze level" bit only the second time I did it, after having to look at the controls on the game page.

(The dialogue boxes seem to make more sense after replaying the game again, but now I know the actions I am supposed to be doing in the first place…)

After getting out of the first part and into the dining hall, I was welcomed with some random gore (why though) and a puzzle, maybe two, neither of which I really got: I can place meats on hooks, I can freeze that. Ok, why? I can pick up a key and unlock the dining hall, where I am "compelled to serve the food" to the table. Again, why? If you are resorting to having to explain the solution with a dialogue fragment, at least provide a better reason. After placing the plate and resetting the loop since I couldn't find anything else to do, I was told "a key appeared". Great! But I couldn't see a key. I assume it's the one that actually appears in the dining hall. But this key doesn't work on the door that I passed on the way here… This is where I stopped.

I also agree that the hitboxes seem off, nor do the ghosts nor spikes really add any interesting challenge to the game.

Got stuck around the dining hall area, really didn't know what to do about the bottom room (put meat bits on the hooks ?) or the key you get from "serving" food ?

Feels like it was quite an achievement doing all of this during the game jam, maybe the scope was too big, and used up time that could have been put on polish instead ?

I looked in the code and for the meat hooks,

you need to put the meat in the correct order
.

Had some trouble running this initially, but after opening the project in Godot 4.3 it ran fine. Next time, maybe consider uploading a web build to itch.io.

This is a clever idea for a puzzle game. Sadly the ghosts keep killing me, interfering with my process of peaceful exploration and experimentation, so I got frustrated and didn't get very far. With the first ghost, at least you have the option to deal with it once and then keep it locked up, but the second just keeps roaming freely.

I have lots of minor gripes, but mostly people already mentioned them. I kind of get the first ghost but the second is just annoying. The hitboxes being so big that when I was killed suddenly by the enemies after the hook room, I just gave up. Hitboxes even kind of make it frustrating to navigate the level…
Too bad since I think it had a lot going for it.

Seems like the meat hook puzzle was one of the main issues.

SPOILER

The gore in the previous room above it shows the order they go in.

Could you explain the order ? I did it previously by trying things until it works, but even with your hint I can't figure out the order easily.
