Caveative

Create your own caves!

Are you surprised how beautiful caves sometimes look?
In Caveative you have the chance to create your own caves! Use natural powers to help yourself.

There are several natural powers, that influence on raw cave in their own way.

Power Description
Earthquake Splits the earth to make raw more erosion-able, so other powers become more effective
Rain Its drops can seep into the ground and make holes
Wind Blows out raw and creates big holes
Sulfur Corrode raw from inside
You finger And… the 5th super tool Use it to dig up a cave fully customizable. But keep in mind, that it has small duration and big cooldown

By digging a cave you may discover some ancient inscriptions :)

Also after you think you finish Caveative process you can finish session by clicking on according button. Then you will be rewarded with stars depending on beauty of the cave you've created.

Unfortunately, there are some performance issues (related to texture erasing technic), so it's recommended to apply no more than 1 power (at top panel) at once.

Interesting idea. I like the idea of creating "art" by choosing different ways to destroy something, and it was fun to mess around with the different enviromental effects on offer. I think though that the game could benefit from more complex interactions between the effects, and more effects overall. Also, a "no cooldown" mode would be nice for anyone who wanted to just spam effects.

It is difficult for me to rank this as a game, the idea is original, but it could be cool to be then able to play something in the cave (say a worms like game).

interesting!
pretty hard to rate though.
this is definately the most original entry!
i liked the way every level had it's own background image.
some more gameplay elements where you actually interact with the cave you created as @yozy suggested would have been nice.
