Place traps to stop the heroes from rescuing the princess
You are an evil wizard, living in your evil tower.
Like any evil wizard worth his salt, you have captured a princess and locked her in your tower. Unfortunatley, the citizens of the fairytale land are not going to stop until they have rescued her.
All gameplay is with the mouse. Select traps using the buttons on the right, and click on the brown trap spots to place a trap there, spnding money to do so. Click a placed trap to activate it and kill heroes. Traps must recharge after being used.

Really cool game! I like the idea of a tower defense game where all the towers had to be manually controlled. The variety of traps and enemies were also very cool and well thought out. I wish there was a way the difficulty can further scale because I felt I could've gone indefinitely even when there were a flood of enemies since they all died in one hit. and crusher op ;p
An interesting take on the idea of a tower defense game with manually activated traps, but after a while it got far too easy to set up combo traps (crushers with swing axes on one side and spikes on the other) and killing large swathes of intruders became too easy, to remedy this I'd say let the intruders smash the crusher trap like they do the princesses door.
The graphics were okay, but left room for improvement and the background music was fine but the repetitive "why?!" from the intruders made killing them less fun after a while.

There were certainly some balance issues present that we didn't get the chance to iron out, but we'll certainly use this as a learning experience going forward!
I liked the idea and concept
Different variations of traps and enemies, and very successful combination of mechanics versus enemies. It bring much diversity to gameplay!
But as for me, it's really hard to play with time, because it's getting a lot of enemies, and you don't have time to handle enemies :\

Really tough, had to try it a few times before I got the hang of it, and it's really easy to run out of money. The pitfall will throw an error sometimes.

Oh damn this is a difficult game, but I'm still playing it so obviously you did a good job. Music got a little grating after a while, but the game is so chaotic and fun that you don't have time to be annoyed.
I'm going to give you max score on graphics. At first I thought it was good jam art but not incredible, but then I saw that pig wiggle its butt as it climbs the ladder and knew that nothing else is going to come close this alakajam. Ass-tounding work.
