would have been nice to have some explanation on how the game played… took a bit to figure out that the knights only created a 'stay away' zone and they faded away.
I'm always a fan of giant swarms of "things". A meter for the gold and remaining health would have helped me know at visually what resources I had to work with. It was fun holding back the swarm and funny seeing them all charge after I lost!

As a game it honestly wasn't super interesting, it seems like you just have to click around the tower :-P
Just as suggestions for improving the gameplay, having to defend multiple locations or a changing landscape would perhaps help.
Not much gameplay here: you can just spam knights close to the base of the tower, and those pesky lovers will stay away. But yeah, you called it a tech demo, not a game :)
A bit laggy as the game moves on, good concept, fun gameplay, love the graphics. Good job!
