Super Magical Anime Sisters is a 1v1 Brawler kindof like Super Smash Bros. Battle your friend to become the champion of the arena. It was made for MiniJam 22 and Alakajam #5. Use your Magical Fireballs to take out your opponent and win.

platforming is really floaty.
physics feels slightly off when you bump into things.
if not for the description, nothing really sells the 'magic' of the attacks, they could just as well be bullets or ki or quite a few other things.
the text overlays didn't match the graphics style very well (the text was very 'drawn', but the game was super pixelated.).
This one is rough, so rough I'll drop the act and get right to it!
Spamming attack wins (nearly) every time. It is technically possible to land a hit if you time your jump and attack just right, but that is about it! Increasing the attack cooldown would help here as well as a mana system of some sort.
Nothing like Smash! Movement hardly matters as there are no melee attacks to push the opponent around with (which would be like Smash!). How about adding in the ability to jump on your opponent's head to deal damage?
The gravity is very weak, which results in strange jumps where the character quickly reaches her apex and then gently floats down (right into the line of spam attacks!) Tweaking the controls is needed.
Too simple, too spammy… The font is nice, though!

Nice 1vs1 local game, pd: you can fall for the enternity :D
