miniLD74 entry - one level demo of an untitled Magnet Game

This is the intro level to an untitled game I made for miniLD74.

I made this between calls at work, so it's not as fleshed out as I wanted it to be. I think the gameplay is fun and it "feels good." Unfortunately, I couldn't do any sound at work :(

I focused a lot on making the controls feel good and tried for a different spin on platforming than I've not seen before.

Our review:

PROS

Cute graphics
Promising mechanic that reminds of the Portal series
Must be great fun to play with 4 hands on a single controller

CONS

The screen sharing through VNC didn't work that well (…yeah that has nothing to do with the game)

I really enjoyed playing Magnet Game, despite being quite short. The mechanics in particular were interesting and I think you could get some mileage out of them. If you do decide to take it further I'd be interested to see how far you can get with the existing mechanics, and then what other changes you could introduce to create more puzzles. Overall, very fun and promising :)
