Purify the corrupted ruins of an ancient temple while its stones try to attack you.
The ruins of the ancient mushroom temple have been corrupted by some dark magic!
Your goal is to purify the ruins by shooting magical orbs at the stones that attack you. You also have the ability to dash in order to dodge their attacks.
Shooting orbs and dashing consumes your mana, which refills itself.
After purifying some stones you may receive a mana upgrade that allows you to store 1 more mana point and makes it refill faster.
Controls
Use the arrow keys to move
Press C to dash
Press X to shoot a magical orb (choose the direction with the arrow keys)
Press R to restart
(I have tested the game in Chrome and Safari, and the sound effects do not play in Safari, so play the game in Chrome if you can)
Oof those controls >.< Since you only need two buttons it would make sense to me to do shooting and dashing with the mouse - less original but the gameplay of moving towards the stones to shoot them while wanting to get away not to get hurt is a bit frustrating. Still, it got me addicted for a bit, I just love high score games ^^
The controls were a little hard to get used to at first but once I realized I don't have to turn fully before I can shoot in a direction it became much easier to handle. I liked the progression, with a big mana pool it was easy to use the dash ability to escape the blocks. I kinda like the visual style, very committed to a blocky aesthetic 😛.

Interesting game!
I enjoyed playing your game. I found that shooting in the right direction was a bit tricky at first, but I got the hang of it after a while. It took me a few tries, but finally I managed to purify all the stones! :)
(My second win took 2:44)
I would have liked to skip the intro after a restart, but hey, time is limited in these jams. ;)
I like how all the levels are in the same screen, just with some other stones. I also like that the different shapes have different ways of moving. The long ones could be quite aggresive! ;)
I also like how the mana bar was divided in more and more pieces with every upgrade, I haven't seen that before.
Well done!
