Funny little game and cute little spiders. Sometimes the spiders appear right at your side and you don't have time to react. Unfortunately there is no music or sound, I think it would have made it a little bit more exciting.

Nice idea, it feels a bit rough tho and lacks a bit of juice to make it a bit more satisfying. One fun twist would be to have our bullets bounce on the rocks. Well done anyway!

I really liked the tempo of the game and smoothness of controls. It lacks some graphics and sounds. If you would work on it, then it will be a pleasant little game.

P.S.: I think I found a bug: when I destroyed boulder for the first time, it restarted the level.

I like the fnid pickaxe -> dig rock -> find exit progression. But the spider spawnzone is sometime too close player.
You coudl define a nospawnzone around him and/or make a little signal animation before any spider spawn.

Cute little game, neat mechanic and progression.
Especially liked the multiple steps to finding the level exit (destroying the spiders to get the pickaxe then using the pickaxe to destroy the rock). Having the multiple "lock & key" level design is nice, though having more than one progression would add a lot.
Gets a little repetitive after a while and could do with some extra mechanics being introduced after a few levels, as opposed to more and more rocks.
Spiders sometimes spawn a little close and cause you to run into them before you see them. Perhaps making them spawn a little further from the player would help.
Audio would be nice and add a lot to how the game feels.

Not bad for a game jam. There's a few things that it seems to be missing, including audio and some visual juice. Even making the background different than the default Unity one may have set the scene a bit more. I also agree that the spiders were able to spawn quite quickly and very close to the player at times, so I would try and reduce this.

However, the gameplay loop was good, and I think if you could improve the user experience a little more (such as the things mentioned above), it could be a neat little game. Overall, fair effort!
