Nice little game, its over quite fast, I think horizontal movement is a little slow for the virtical speed. And yet i found it a little adicting ;)

The stick man pointing at the menu buttons is a lovley touch. Good Job!

The inertia is way too strong, same thing for the gravity, so there is no real point of moving the player since you can't react fast enough to dodge the spike. I suggest you to change the linear drag and gravity of the Rigidbody2D of your player, and have a way greater acceleration.

Congratulations on finishing your first jam! :-)

I need to echo the first two commenters, the controls feel way too slow for what it seems to want you to do. Relatively, the spikes go by so fast, and are so large compared to the screen, that I couldn't even tell wether the level stayed the same each time, which could in theory make this playable (but a different kind of challenge).

Perhaps you could show at the bottom of the screen where new spikes will emerge some time later?

I really enjoyed the animated menu (& it's hover-help) though! :-)
