Game was a little tough to play.

I did get the hang of it though.

It looks like a great start to something that could be excellent

Hand-drawn graphics are always a little surreal, which is good.

I am a huge fan of any handdrawn graphics, and the music goes well with them!
There is very little to say about the game itself, the only thing worth nothing is that having platformer mechanics like jumping feels like a contradiction with the gravity inversion mechanic.

I think most games need good gameplay to be considered good, but there are exceptions like OFF, which is a game from 2008 that has rather poorly implemented RPG Maker mechanics but a great style and universe. So please, don't feel discouraged if you feel like making a game but can't figure out a good gameplay!

The flute music and the handrawn graphics with choppy animation of the background made me feel like I'm watching some children's show from my childhood. Pretty cool! Biggest gripe for me is the changing background. I don't think it's necessarily a bad idea but maybe you should check that the color value is very similar in all the frames so it doesn't pop so harshly when it changes. Hopefully work doesn't keep you too busy next time!
