Rocket science and asteroïds destruction.
Welcome in the Simone 7 space program, an asteroïd fighter rocket design to protect earth.
You have to pilot the rocket with arrows (UP to thrust, left / right to turn, you can use WASD / ZQSD).
Press SPACE to shoot a missile. The head of the Simone 7 is made of diamand and can smash an asteroïd by smashing into it.
Just don't crash on the planet and don't let asteroïds destroy the planet. To summarize, it's important that NOTHING crash on the planet.
Have fun ! There is two levels. Your score is the time to destroy all asteroïds.
Made with love and :
Graphics
Very sleek, but simple art style. Everything fit well together. Definitely reminiscent of some old flash games. 8/10.
Audio
Like someone else has mentioned, yes, the sound effects can get a bit repetitive. The sound of the rocket got a bit annoying after a while. Maybe if it was a bit more smoothed out of a sound, it would be less taxing to the ears. No music also gives audio a lower score. But overall, the sound was decent. 5/10.
Gameplay
It was fun controlling the rocket, but it got boring having to traverse to an asteroid 15km away. And beyond destroying the asteroids, there was nothing else to do while flying around. 5/10.
Originality
Destroying asteroids while flying a space shuttle while inside of the planet's atmosphere? That's not something I've done before. However, destroying asteroids as a spaceship was the premise of one of the first games ever made. 5/10.
Theme
This definitely fits the theme of gravity, since you are constantly fighting it's pull to fly up to the asteroids, while you are racing to destroy the asteroids before gravity pulls them to the planet's surface. 10/10.
Overall score
6/10.
Oh this is fun. The controls are a lot like Luftrausers which is one of my favorite character controllers. The dynamic camera zoom that was based on speed is a good idea but needs to be tuned down a lot, it shift so rapidly at slower speeds that it made it difficult to maneuver and keep my eyes on the target. The sound effects made someones headphones do some weird clicking. Promising entry.
