tutorial is now included.
arrow keys to move.
first riddle made easier.
.wav files compressed under several cargo ships.

(Also if you happen to look at the code you'll be happy to hear that yes, indeed, I am going to go to hell for my sins.)

Console game, that's pretty cool and it's been some time since i played one of those. I like the 'animations' in intro and the overall look of the game, even it's just signs, colours are matching and map is easy to read. Gameplay is pretty good, mechanic when you move you 'lose' one letter from the riddle text that was used to move player wast pretty clever. There could be a small tutorial or brief description (even on Alakajam site) about controls, just so it is easier for new players to approach the game. In general pretty cool concept and execution.

Thank you so much for your feedback, I'm glad you liked it, and you're absolutely right about the lack of tutorial/info on controls, it slipped out of my mind (you know, poor sleep and all..), I've added the info in the description.

Very nice entry, i really like the graphics and the music. Unfortunately, the controls make this one very unplayable for me. May I ask, why you did not just use arrow keys or WASD? Z/Y is a very bad key for people with german keyboard layout as it is not on it's original position.

Hey Laguna, sorry to hear you had trouble with the keys, I am french and keyboards here are AZERTY, if you just press the combination Alt + Shift you'll be able to switch from QWERTY to AZERTY, that or in your keyboard settings. Sorry about that, reason was I had some problems with python recognizing the arrows, I hope I'll be able to fix that in future projects.

However I'm glad you liked what you saw/heard so far, I do hope you'll be able to experience the gameplay with that little keyboard trick.

Switching to Azerty took a bit more than alt-shift on Win 7 at least. Was it worth it? Not really, puzzles are not my thing. I even cheated and screencapped the riddle right in the beginning!

My best guess: Air, Dry, Fire/Hot, Water/Wet. Nothing worked.

Nice atmosphere. Maybe use different technology next time?
