More information:
In addition to the game itself, we wrote a MIDI parsing script to combine midi files into a large beatmap, that is used to create the the notes on all of the instruments with a single large file. This made the process of charting songs much easier, and would potentially be reusable for future projects.
The script to create these is not complete, and is currently unavailable.

Yeah, I don't have four 360 controllers and friends just laying around to try things out.
Generally speaking, mapping the main controller input to keyboard input is very easy to achieve in Unity. All you need to do is to add another input axis with the same name, yet different keys, and it should just work.
The audio visuals are great though. That much I can ascertain even without playing.
Really nice idea! I included it in my Alakajam #1 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/fRBZG2NbaE8
Well… should have read the description. Pretty hard to do this alone.
Some of the controls were very awkward, like pressing all L buttons at the same time.
Also, the soul gauge drains way to fast.
But if I had friends here right know, it would make for a great 5 minute break inbetween playing other stuff.
